Scenic spot introduction:
Cape of Good Hope means "Cape of Good Hope". It is the landmark of Cape Town, the southwestern tip of the African continent, and the intersection of the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans. This famous cape was originally called Cape of Storms. It is always full of stormy waves and "killer waves" often appear. Ships sailing here often suffer disasters, so it has become the most dangerous sailing area in the world. In the 16th century, Cape of Good Hope was the only way from Europe to Asia by sea, bringing huge wealth to various countries. It has special significance in the history of navigation and trade. After the opening of the Suez Canal, the role of this route has weakened, but it is still an indispensable and important channel between Europe and Asia, and some giant ships must detour from here. It is said that 30,000 to 40,000 giant ships still pass through the Cape of Good Hope every year, and its significance cannot be underestimated. As the saying goes, if you don't visit Cape Town in South Africa, you haven't been to South Africa; if you don't visit Cape Town, you haven't been to Cape Town. This is a treasure trove of plants, with almost the world's oldest and completely original shrub layers, primitive flora that have never been disturbed by humans, and rare original conditions for studying plant evolution. Nature Reserve There are also a lot of wild animals living in the area. Looking out from the railing at the Cape of Good Hope, you can see the sea and sky in the distance, and you can also see the splashing waves under your feet. It is truly a magnificent sight.
