Scenic area services:
Diego has a well-developed tourism industry. Most of the foreign tourists are French and Italian. There are many resort hotels in the town. We recommend staying at LE GRAND HOTEL and DE LA POSTE HOTEL. The former is a French international hotel chain and one of the few hotels in the town with an elevator and a swimming pool. The poolside restaurant offers authentic French cuisine for three meals a day. The latter is an old hotel currently run by Yemenis.
Precautions:
1. The clothing required in Madagascar all year round is mainly summer clothing, but when traveling in the dry season, jackets, windbreakers and sweaters are also necessary because of the large temperature difference between morning and evening, especially in the capital Antananarivo. The coldest time of the year is in July and August, with the lowest temperature at night being only 11 or 12 degrees.
2. Madagascar's sanitary conditions are backward, and some common diseases in Africa, such as amoebic dysentery and malaria, can endanger people's health at any time. Tourists should bring some necessary medicines with them before traveling to Madagascar.
3. Madagascar's public security is relatively good, with relatively few cases of open robbery or assault, but there are many thefts, so tourists should pay attention to their own safety.
