Djemila is a religious holy place and ancient city in Algeria. It is located on a hill over 900 meters high in Setif Province in North Africa. The ruins of Djemila make Algeria one of the countries with the most spectacular Roman ruins in the world. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage as early as 1982.
