Scenic spot introduction:

Uta is one of the two pagodas in Fuzhou. Located at the east foot of Wushan Mountain, its full name is "Chongmiao Baosheng Strong Tower". The predecessor of the Wu Pagoda is the "Innocent Pure Light Pagoda" built by Liu Mian, the Fujian observer envoy, in the 15th year of Zhenyuan of the Tang Dynasty (AD 799) to pray for the birthday of Emperor Dezong Li Shi. The pagoda has eight floors and seven corners, and is 35 meters high. There are relief Buddha statues on the walls of each floor, a total of forty-six. The fourth, fifth and seventh floors are respectively embedded with the stele of the name of the pagoda, the record of the pagoda's construction and the stele of prayers. The top of the pagoda is decorated with a gourd temple, with a majestic and dignified shape, simple and generous. It is built of granite, so it is called "Stone Tower".
