Scenic spot introduction:

Hualien Tzu Chi is a famous Buddhist charity organization in Taiwan. Since 1966, under the leadership of Master Cheng Yen, Tzu Chi has promoted the ultimate concern of humanity and has been involved in social services such as poverty alleviation, emergency relief, and medical relief. The "Buddhist Tzu Chi Merit Association" was formed by 30 believers who saved 50 cents a day. After 38 years of baptism, it has developed into a huge team with more than 4 million members. Tzu Chi is located next to Jiamin Elementary School in Hualien, Taiwan. It is a simple courtyard with gray tiles and white walls. Visitors walk through the green and elegant maple forest path, breathing the sweet and elegant fragrance of osmanthus and Michelia to the front of the temple. The simple and solemn building and the pine trees and grass in the garden complement each other, revealing elegance in silence.

The founder of Jingsi Abode, Master Cheng Yen, hopes to Jingsi Hall To present the compassionate spirit of Tzu Chi people, "great compassion without any cause" and "great compassion for all beings", and to preserve the historical footprints of Tzu Chi for future generations. Jingsi Temple was built in 1986 and is designed to be 13 stories high. There are lecture halls, Tzu Chi Taoist Plaza, Lotus Sutra ramp, international conference hall, thanksgiving hall, Tzu Chi world, Buddhist cultural relics exhibition room, religious library, historical materials hall, scripture pavilion, and observation tower. Each floor has its own Buddhist spirit and the truth, goodness and beauty of the Tzu Chi world. It is also like a Tzu Chi history museum, engraved with the eternal deeds of Tzu Chi. The temple is located in the Tzu Chi Cultural Park on Central Road.
