Scenic spot introduction:

Zhaojia Tower, also known as Zhaolou, originated in the early Yuan Dynasty and spanned the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Tan Lunzitian, the right assistant of the Ministry of Works in the Ming Dynasty, built a tower here to ring the bell to call farmers to work, so it was named "Zhaojia Tower", the first tower for reclamation in Pudong. Zhaolou is located in Pujiang Town, Minhang District. The ancient town's Yaojiagang River runs from west to northeast. The old streets are concentrated on both sides of the river, facing each other across the river. Plain walls and gray tiles, deep alleys and winding lanes, "high houses and narrow alleys face the street, and people live by small bridges and flowing water."
