Scenic spot introduction:

Yaowan Ancient Town is known as the first ancient town on the Grand Canal. It is an ancient water town with a history of thousands of years and is famous throughout the country. Most of the current buildings in the ancient town are in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The deep alleys, deep houses and courtyards are favored by the world. It is the first ancient town in northern Jiangsu.

Attractions distribution:

There are many ancient buildings in the ancient town, especially the ancient buildings on Zhongning Street and West Street are relatively well preserved. Changji Cloth Shop, China Pawn Museum, Qing Post Office, Yongmao Bank, Shanxi Guild Hall, Wu Family Courtyard, etc. are the most distinctive places to visit and not to be missed. The ancient sauce garden and thousand-year-old locust trees are still showing visitors the ancient history of Yaowan.

How to get there:

Bus route: Take the bus from Xinyi Bus Terminal to Yaowan. Get off at the terminal and walk forward to see the scenic sign. Follow the sign and walk south; or take a taxi after arriving at Yaowan Town.

Self-driving route: Take the Lianhuo Expressway from Xuzhou City, exit from the Pizhou (East) exit and enter Longhai Avenue. After driving for 1.3 kilometers, turn right and enter S323. After passing Jijizi, turn right and enter. X210, you can reach it.
