The Jingdong Great Karst Cave developed in the Mesoproterozoic era and has a history of about 1.5 billion years. It is known as "the most ancient cave in the world".

The Jingdong Great Karst Cave is located on the east side of Heidouyu Village, Pinggu District, Beijing, 90 kilometers west of Beijing urban area. Because it was the first discovery in the Jingdong area, it is named the Jingdong Great Karst Cave. The cave has constant temperatures all year round and has a unique landscape. It is a summer resort in the suburbs of Beijing.
