Hanzhong Dingjun Mountain Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Dingjun Mountain in Hanzhong is an ancient battlefield during the Three Kingdoms period. There are 12 mountains stretching for more than ten kilometers from west to east. It is like a dragon playing with a pearl. It is known as "a pearl in the twelve mountains" and is also known as "the rule of Dingjun Mountain". It is said that if you win Hanzhong, you will rule the world. It is located 5 kilometers south of Mian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. Dingjun Mountain is famous for the fact that Shu Han general Huang Zhong killed Cao Wei general Xia Houyuan in the Battle of Hanzhong during the Three Kingdoms period. According to the records in "The Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms, Book of Shu, and the Biography of Zhuge Liang", Zhuge Liang ordered to be "buried in Dingjun Mountain in Hanzhong", so Dingjun Mountain has the tomb of Marquis Wu. After Huang Zhong died of illness, he was also buried at the foot of Dingjun Mountain. In the Qing Dynasty, Liu Yuan moved the burial to Jiyashi Tree in Chengdu, but his tomb was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Dingjun Mountain is located 2 kilometers south of Mian County, and the tomb of Marquis Wu is located at the foot of this mountain.
