Tianjin Haihe Italian Style District is the only well-preserved Italian-style building complex in Asia, except for Italy. It is also the largest and only Italian cultural center in my country and even Southeast Asia. Haihe Italian Style District is located at the southern end of Hebei District, Tianjin. It was once the central area of the Italian concession in Tianjin's modern history. The original blocks and buildings are basically preserved in their original appearance. It was built in 1902, covering an area of 28.5 hectares and a total construction area of 400,000 square meters. The block contains almost all buildings of different styles from various periods in Italy, as well as many former residences of Chinese celebrities and the footprints of General Cai E, a great national hero. It was here that General Cai E and Mr. Liang Qichao discussed the national defense plan to attack Yuan Shikai. Many well-known film and television dramas, such as "Perfect Match", "Founding of a Republic", "Silver Empire", "The Voice", "Xinhai Revolution 1911", "Mei Lanfang", "Golden Age", etc., were filmed here.
