Ningxia Liupan Mountain Tourist Area is located at the junction of Ningxia, Gansu, and Shaanxi. The main peak is in Guyuan and Longde counties of Ningxia. It is a must-pass for the northern section of the eastern section of the ancient Silk Road. It is an important fortress and a commemorative place for military strategists of all ages. An important red tourist attraction during the Red Army's Long March, it became famous at home and abroad because of Mao Zedong's glorious poem "Qing Ping Le·Liupan Mountain".Liupan Mountain got its name because the mountain road is winding, dangerous and narrow, and you have to go through six winding roads to reach the top. There has always been a saying in Liupan Mountain that "there is no midsummer after spring and autumn". The main peak, Mi Gang Mountain, is 2,942 meters above sea level. When you climb up to the main peak, you can see the foggy morning and the vast sea of clouds. As the sun rises and the clouds open, you can see endless mountains.

It is best for hiking tourists to form a small hiking team. It is not recommended for one person to hike alone.
There is basically no water on the way from Baiyun Temple to Migang Mountain and finally to Yehe Valley. Each person needs to bring more than 1 liter of water for drinking on the way.
You have to cross a lot of thorns and weeds during the hike, so be careful to protect yourself from harm. Pay attention to wild boars on the way, don't mess with them if you encounter them, relax and leave slowly.

How to get there:
To go to Liupan Mountain, you can first go to Liangdian Gorge and Erlong River, which takes 3-4 hours. On the way out of the valley, you can go down the mountain road into the valley, visit the four pools, reservoirs and other places in Laolongtan, then walk for about two hours to the parking lot, and then take a bus to the Wild Lotus Valley.
