Hechi Donglan Red Tourist Area Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Hechi Donglan Red Tourist Area is the birthplace of the Guangxi peasant movement and the heart of the Youjiang Revolutionary Base. It is also the source of the Youjiang revolutionary struggle led by Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi and Wei Baqun and the Baise Uprising. Donglan is a famous old revolutionary base in the country. From this red land came five first-generation generals of the Republic, including Wei Guoqing, Wei Jie, Qin Jian, Wei Zuzhen, and Qin Shimian. There are many revolutionary sites in the county with profound historical significance. It is known as the "Revolutionary Museum without Walls". It is a national youth patriotism education base, a Guangxi patriotism education base, a Guangxi party member and cadre education base and a Guangxi anti-corruption education base.

Attractions distribution:

Donglan Red Tourist Area is located 100 kilometers southwest of Hechi. There are Lenin Rock, the former site of the Guangxi Peasant Movement Training Center, Kuixing Tower, the former site of the Seventh Red Army’s enemy committee, Donglan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery, Wei Baqun’s former residence, Wei Baqun Memorial Hall and other revolutionary sites. There are nearly 50 ruins. Through a large number of real-life objects, text and pictures, you can learn about the red history of Donglan and the life story of Wei Baqun.
