Lhasa Dezong Hot Spring Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Dezong Hot Spring , because it was blessed by Guru Padmasambhava, it became one of the four holy springs in Tibet. Dezong is a beautiful Tibetan village located in a valley, with high mountain pastures and green grass on both sides of the hillside. The buildings in the village are typical white, scattered in an orderly manner, with a nunnery in the middle, with a golden roof and the sound of conch shells echoing all day long. Dezong Hot Spring The temperature is moderate and it is said to cure many skin diseases. Many local Tibetans go there to bathe. Spring Pond The hot spring is built with a half-height wall made of stones, some of which have simple roofs, and most of which are open-air. The conditions are simple and it is a very natural and primitive hot spring, with the men's pool on the top and the women's pool on the bottom, each with a spring gushing out of it. Dezong Hot Spring It is 140 kilometers away from Lhasa and takes about 6 hours to drive. You can see black-necked cranes along the way.

Dezong Hot Spring At an altitude of about 4,300 meters, there are actually two sources of hot springs. One is called "Kaguiquze". Eagle Springs The water temperature is about 40℃, and the spring is divided into two halves. The upper one is the male spring, and the lower one is the female spring. About 4 meters away from "Kaguiquze", there is another spring named "Xiaquze". "Xia" means deer, and "Quze" still means hot spring. In Chinese, it means " Luquan ". The water temperature is around 48℃.
