Boao Oceanarium (Xisha Ocean World) is a large underwater world integrating viewing, entertainment, science education, tourism and leisure. The aquarium is located in the Asian Style Square of Boao Town, Qionghai City, adjacent to the Boao Forum for Asia Founding Site Scenic Area. The aquarium displays more than 800 species of aquatic plants and animals in the South China Sea, including more than 300 species of fish in the Xisha Sea, with a total number of more than 3,000. It has an annual reception capacity of 5 million people.

The Boao Xisha Oceanarium has a total construction area of 4,300 square meters and a total water storage capacity of 1,500 tons.
