Chaotianhou Rafting is a unique twin-river rafting style with both hard and soft rafting styles. It is located in Xingshan County, the hometown of Zhaojun, Yichang City, Hubei Province. It has a total length of 6 kilometers and a drop of up to 148 meters. The two rivers have different scenery but the same destination. At the rapids, rocks are pierced through the sky, rocks fall and rise, and it is extremely thrilling. The midway between Yichang and Shennongjia is an important node of the "One River and Two Mountains" golden tourist channel. How to get there:
Public transportation: Take the train to Yichang East Station, take bus No. 9 out of the station, drive for about 30-40 minutes and get off at Yichang Long-distance Bus Station, transfer to the bus to Xingshan Gaolan, and get off at the starting point of Chaotianhou Rafting.
Self-driving: Enter the expressway from the entrance of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway (i.e., pick up the card at Wuhan West Toll Station), then turn to Hanyi Expressway, drive 298 kilometers to Yichang Toll Station, exit the station, turn left at the Yichang ramp, and go Go forward in the direction of Shennongjia. After seeing a roundabout, go right here. There is a sign at the fork. Follow the sign and go in the direction of Xingshan. It is a total of 104 kilometers from Yichang to Gaolan, Xingshan.
