Jilin Hani National Nature Reserve is one of the areas rich in mountain wetland resources in Jilin Province. The main protection objects are the wetland ecosystem dominated by Hari peat swamps and the water source conservation area in the upper reaches of the Hani River. The geology of Ha Ni is a typical lava barrier lake-filled peat swamp in China. It is also the peat deposit with the largest peat layer thickness and reserves in Northeast China. It is a rare high-resolution peat layer marker in the world. The study of environmental evolution has important scientific value.

Hami Nature Reserve is located in the southeast of Liuhe County, with a total area of ​​22,230 hectares. The Hami River in the area is the only water source for Tonghua City.
