Scenic spot introduction:
Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan is located at the junction of Sangzhi County and Cili County in the middle section of Wulingyuan Mountain Range in the northwest of Hunan Province. It is known as "Natural Labyrinth" and "The Most Wonderful Mountain in the World". It has a total area of 369 square kilometers. Among them, the central scenic area covers an area of 264 square kilometers. It belongs to the sandstone peak forest landform and is famous for its "five wonders": strange peaks, strange rocks, secluded valleys, beautiful waters and karst caves.Wulingyuan has not been artificially carved. It is full of stone pillars, stone peaks, cliffs, ancient trees, clouds, mist, flowing springs and waterfalls, rare birds and animals. Five thousand stone peaks of various shapes and forms stand in the deep ravines; eight hundred streams meander through the stone forests and canyons. Being in it is like entering a magical world and an interesting art landscape gallery.

travelling guideline:
1. Generally, there are more entrances to the scenic spots from Wulingyuan Ticket Station and Forest Park Ticket Station.
2. After entering the gate of Wulingyuan, you can take the special environmentally friendly bus here to reach the mouth of Jinbian River and take a dip on the mountain path, surrounded by streams and shaded by green trees. Then admire the thousand-foot-high Golden Whip Rock. After lunch, take a bus to Huangshizhai Cableway Station and take the cableway straight up to Huangshizhai. You can also climb the 3878 steps yourself to experience the fun of mountain climbing. After arriving at Huangshi Village, visit many scenic spots and viewing platforms such as the "Dinghai Shenzhen", "Southern Pillar", "Star Picking Platform", and "Natural Murals". When going down the mountain, you can experience the thrill and excitement of "rapid gyration" rafting. Next, take the cableway to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tianzi Mountain, "all the small mountains at a glance". After getting off the cableway, you can go to the famous Helong Park, stroll in the scenic area, and admire Yubi Peak and Tiannv Sanhua. After going down the mountain, you might as well go to the Shili Gallery in Suoxiyu. There is a view every three steps and a peak every five steps. The scenery is endless and dazzling. Finally, Huanglong Cave, one of the most unique places in China, is not to be missed.

How to get there:
Zhangjiajie Bus Station is at the end of Renmin Road. It is about 30 kilometers from Zhangjiajie City to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The departure time of Zhangjiajie Bus Station and Wulingyuan Bus Station starts at 5:30 in the morning, and there is a bus every 10 minutes. There are frequent minibuses every day. The ticket price is 10 yuan per person, and it takes about 45 minutes to reach the destination.

Wulingyuan Ticket Price:
Forest Park: 3-day ticket is 248 yuan + 3 yuan (insurance); 7-day ticket is 298 yuan + 3 yuan (insurance).
There are five ticket stations in the scenic area: Wulingyuan Ticket Station, Forest Park Ticket Station, Water around four gates Ticket station, Yangjiajie ticket station and Tianzi Mountain ticket station.
Ticket validity period: valid for two days, but indefinite if you stay in the scenic area. Please note that tickets purchased before 18:00 on the same day are only valid for the next day, and tickets purchased between 18:00 and 24:00 are considered as tickets purchased on the next day.
Tianzi Mountain Cableway is 40 yuan per person for one way;
Bailong Elevator One-way 43 yuan/person;
Yangjiajie cableway one-way ticket is 76 yuan per person;
Huangshizhai Cableway costs 40 yuan per person for one way and 70 yuan per person for a round trip.
Ten Mile Gallery The one-way sightseeing tram costs 24 yuan per person, and the round-trip tram costs 30 yuan per person.
