Scenic spot introduction:

The Yellow River Estuary Ecological Tourism Area is located in the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve at the mouth of the Yellow River, the mother river of the Chinese nation. The total area of the reserve is 153,000 hectares, with 1,524 species of wild animals and 268 species of birds. It is the largest, most complete and youngest wetland ecosystem in the warm temperate zone of the Earth. It is also an important "transit station" and wintering habitat and breeding ground for migratory birds in inland Northeast Asia and the western Pacific. It is known as the "international airport for birds" and the "youngest land of the Republic". It has been selected as one of the "Six Most Beautiful Wetlands in China".

Attractions distribution:

The total area of the Yellow River Estuary Ecological Tourism Zone is 900 square kilometers, of which 400 square kilometers have been opened to the public. Relying on the unique natural conditions for local eco-tourism, the tourism zone management office takes "respecting nature and achieving harmony between man and nature" as its planning concept, highlighting the three major landscapes of river-sea confluence, new wetlands, and wild birds and the three major cultures of the Yellow River, wetlands, and oil. The tourism zone is planned to be divided into six functional areas, including the river-sea confluence experience area and the leisure and vacation area, forming a spatial pattern of one dragon head (Yellow Dragon entering the sea), two cores (International Bird Watching Base and Changhaichangtian Scenic Area), and two major benefit areas (Wetland Comprehensive Service Area and Wetland Leisure and Vacation Area).
