Scenic spot introduction:

Jiuxian Mountain Scenic Area in Qufu is famous for its "March 3 Temple Fair" and is one of the highest peaks in Jining. This famous Taoist mountain is full of beautiful bells and purples. Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Zao and other schools gathered here. Warring States city ruins and temples from past dynasties also left numerous historical sites here. The most legendary one is undoubtedly the magical story of the Queen Mother and Bixia Yuanjun. Jiuxian Mountain can be said to integrate the pulse of China and the essence of heaven and earth into one mountain. It is a tourist holy place that follows the ancients and worships saints, and it is also a natural oxygen bar for home travel.

Attractions distribution:

Jiuxian Mountain is located 18.5 kilometers north of Qufu City. There are 938 stone steps and 32 large and small temples within the scenic area. After entering from the archway gate at the foot of the mountain, you can visit the Nine Immortals Tianchi, Hongmen Palace, Dinglongjing, Sanxian Bridge, Zuibaxian Pavilion, Xianren Bridge, Sanqing Hall, Xianren Cave, Queen Mother's Palace and other ancestral temples. After passing by the South After Tianmen and other three mountain gates, you can climb to the top of the mountain. Climbing high, looking out, and feeling nature can make you happy both physically and mentally.

How to get there:

Bus route: You can take a direct bus to Jiuxian Mountain at Qufu Bus Station.

Self-driving route: Leave the Beijing-Fufu Expressway from the Qufu North/G104 exit, take the G104 Panqiao and then drive towards Dongling Village and Fenjizhang Village.

1. The Temple Fair on March 3rd is a traditional event in the scenic spot. Tens of thousands of people come to make spontaneous offerings every year. It has been prosperous since the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign.
