Huxingshan-Huayao Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Longhui, covering an area of 118km2, covering 16 natural administrative villages in two towns, Huxingshan and Xiaoshajiang. The scenic spot holds the "Tou Nian Bai" Festival in May every year, the "Chinese Honeysuckle Festival" in June, and the "Tou Liao Gui" Festival held in July, which are crowded with people and are spectacular.

Best time to visit:
Huayao belongs to the subtropical monsoon temperate climate zone, with sufficient sunshine, abundant rainfall, four distinct seasons, and a mild climate. There is no severe cold in winter and less heat in summer. It is suitable for traveling in all seasons. Others will arrange their own travel time based on the three major traditional festivals.

How to get there:
From Changsha, you can take an express bus to Longhui County in about two and a half hours, and then take a bus to Xiaoshajiang Town in two and a half hours. There are buses from Xiaoshajiang Town that go directly to Tuocun.
