Pingdu Daze Mountain Scenic Area, the "Hometown of Grapes" and "Hometown of Stone Thunder" in China, is the birthplace of the Wei stele calligraphy style. It is famous for its many springs, grapes and strange peaks and rocks. In this vast area, historical relics such as the Yueshi Culture - Dongyue Stone Ruins and priceless treasures - cliff carvings from the Northern Dynasties have been discovered. Daze Mountain is located 30 kilometers north of Pingdu City, covering an area of about 30 square kilometers. The scenic area is divided into the Imperial City, Xipo, Daguding, Taohuajian, Tianzhu Mountain, Yujia Mountain and Forest Park tourist areas, including Xifeng, Tianzhu Mountain, Ruiyun Peak and other strange stone peaks; Zhizang Temple and Rizhao There are two temples in the nunnery, including an invitation platform, forest of steles, nectar springs, cliff carvings and other landscapes; the prototype of Gaojiazhuang in the famous movie "Landmine War" is the Gaojia Village at the foot of the mountain. How to get there:
Bus route: Take the bus from Qingdao Sifang Long-distance Station to Pingdu Bus Terminal, and then change to a tourist shuttle bus to the scenic spot.
Self-driving route: Jinan-bound Weiwu Expressway leaves from the Shahe/Xiaqiu exit and drives along S308 → Zeshan Road; Qingdao-bound Rongwei Expressway leaves from the Pingdu/Laizhou exit and drives along S218 → Zeshan Road .
