1. Every year on the 13th day of the sixth lunar month, local herdsmen hold a grand ceremony to offer sacrifices to Tianchi in Maya Snow Mountain. People who came to participate in the sacrificial pool raised their wind horses while the monks in the temple chanted scriptures and prayed. The devout herdsmen took out hada, butter lumps, etc. prepared in advance and threw them into the lake. It is said that whoever throws the sacrifice into the lake and sees strange sights such as snow lotuses, pagodas, and auras appear in the lake will be blessed with good fortune and good health.
2. From the entrance to the Maja Snow Mountain Scenic Area to the Tianti Entrance, you have to climb a slope. The scenery on this section of the road is very beautiful. You can climb slowly to relieve altitude sickness and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

How to get there:
Bus: Starting from Lanzhou: Lanzhou → Huazang Temple, take the express bus to Wuwei at Pingliang Road Bus Station. It runs every half an hour after 7:00. The fare is 31 yuan and the journey takes about 2 hours. Huazang Temple → Tanshan Ridge: 60 kilometers, the road condition is very good, and we cross Wutailing on the way; Carbon Mountain Ridge → Maya Tianchi: 16 kilometers, the road to Maya Tianchi is paved along Ayangou, and the road condition is very good.
