Lotus Pond is the largest lake in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City. In the hot summer, lotus flowers bloom and the fragrance is everywhere, so it is named "Lotus Pond". Since 2004, not only water facilities have been set up around the lake, but also temple celebrations in Zuoying area are held here. 1. Lotus Pond bicycle lane The total length from the middle section of Ai River to the bank of Lotus Pond is about 20.6 kilometers. Along the way, you can pass through Sanmin No. 1 Park, Riverbank Park, Smile Park and other green spaces. It is a great place for people to ride bicycles on holidays.

MRT Route: Take the MRT Red Line to Zuoying Station (R16) to reach Lotus Pond.

Self-driving route:

1. National Highway 1: Exit at Kaohsiung Interchange, follow Jiuru 1st Road, Minzu 1st Road, turn to Tianxiang 2nd Road, and continue along Xinzhuangzi Road to reach Lotus Pond.

2. National Highway 2: Exit at Kaohsiung Interchange, take the branch line from Zuoying to Dazhong 2nd Road, and turn along Huaxia Road to Xinzhuangzi Road to reach Lotus Pond.
