Scenic spot introduction:

Qiandao Lake is the lake with the most islands in the world and the largest forest park in China. It was selected by the China World Records Association with 1,078 islands, creating a world record. Qiandao Lake Scenic Area is Xin'anjiang Reservoir, with a total area of 982 square kilometers, of which the lake area is 573 square kilometers. It is an artificial lake formed by the damming and water storage of Xin'anjiang Hydropower Station, the first large-scale hydropower station designed and equipped by my country in 1959. It is a national first-class water body and can be called the "back garden" of Hangzhou.
The islands of different sizes and shapes are distributed in a sparse and dense manner. The islands are clustered together, and the lake is divided into different widths, twists and turns, and the direction is difficult to distinguish, forming a unique landscape of a maze on the lake. There are also archipelagos and islands of various shapes and sizes, such as Baihu Island, Baidao Lake, and Pearl Island. Where the islands are sparse, the lake is open, deep, and vast, just like the sea. At the same time, the forest coverage rate here reaches 95%, and it is known as the "Green Thousand Island Lake". The plant species are very rich, and a relatively complete and large-scale broad-leaved mixed forest area and Qianmutian and Moxinjian plant distribution communities are preserved; 94 species of fish, 90 species of birds, and more than 100 species of wild animals live here, and a variety of special tourism projects such as exhibitions, fishing, and round-ups can be carried out.

Qiandao Lake is located in Chun'an County, Hangzhou City. It is divided into six tourist areas: Southeast Lake Area, Central Lake Area, Northwest Lake Area, Southwest Lake Area, Northeast Lake Area, and Fuxi Stone Forest. The main attractions in the Southeast Lake Area are: Tianchi Fish watching, Mishan Island, Osmanthus Island , Xianshan Island, Laoshan Island Crocodile Pool , Qiandao Scenic Area, Jinxi Wangqian, Xin'anjiang Hydropower Dam. The main attractions in the central lake area are: Songcheng Qiandao Lake Town, Qiandao Lake Fishing Village, Longshan Hai Rui Temple , Prime Minister Island, Coin Island, Lock Island , Meifeng Island , Liyang Cave, Mink Island, Bird Island , Shenlong Island , Monkey Island , Wenxin Island, Famous Dog Island, Peacock Garden. The main attractions in the Northwest Lake area are: Fang La Uprising Site---- Fang La Temple , Chen Shuozhen Uprising Site, Liuxiang Waterfall, Changling Stone Pillar, Jin'ao Valley. The main attractions in the southwest lake area are: Jieshou Islands, Longchuan Peninsula, Yingshan Academy, Baima Milk Cave. The main attractions in the northeast lake area are: Yanshan Fishing, Pingfeng Rock, Qianmu Field, Longmen Waterfall.
