Baise Chengbi Lake Scenic Area Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

The graceful and beautiful Chengbi Lake Tourist Resort is located 7 kilometers northeast of Baise City. It is one of the first batch of provincial scenic spots announced by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1988. Chengbi Lake was originally an underground river, flowing under the mountains on the edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, and suddenly rushed out of the Lanjinling Water Source Cave in Lingyun County. From September 1958 to September 1960, more than 70,000 people of all ethnic groups in 12 counties in Baise area used their hard-working and wise hands and after two years of hard work, transformed it into a large reservoir with a total length of 127 kilometers, a lake area of 39 square kilometers, and a total storage capacity of 1.13 billion cubic meters, becoming a "bright pearl" in western Guangxi.

Attractions distribution:

The Chengbi Lake Scenic Area is dominated by natural mountains and waters, integrating the wildness of the mountains and the scenery of the lake. The area is lush with green trees, the water surface is wide and clear, the lake water is clear and transparent all the year round, and the islands in the lake are scattered all over the place, small and exquisite with different shapes. The streams and bays around the lake are winding and quiet, like a jade belt extending into the deep mountains and canyons. There are all kinds of flying birds gathering on the lake all year round, and there are natural rock human heads of the Zhuang Yamang people and beautiful folk legends, as well as Qingquan Karst Cave and Guanyin Temple and other attractions; two ring roads extend along the lakeshore for more than ten kilometers, winding and tortuous. The mountains around the lake are fertile, and subtropical fruits such as mango, lychee, longan, and jackfruit are planted all over the mountains and fields. It is indeed a good place for sightseeing, vacation and leisure.
