Chagan Lake is world-famous for its vast waters and spectacular winter fishing. It is one of the six largest freshwater lakes in the country and the largest inland lake in Jilin Province. Chagan Lake, also known as "Chagan Nur", means "white lake" in Mongolian. It was a fishing and hunting place visited by emperors of the Liao, Jin and Yuan dynasties. The lake area is dotted with rivers and swamps, with whitebait swimming around, rich water plants, and geese and ducks roosting there; the trees along the coast are lush, and the fields are lush and grassy, making the scenery picturesque. Chagan Lake Tourist Resort is located in the northwest of Qianguo County, Songyuan City, about 60 kilometers away from Songyuan City, with a water area of 420 square kilometers. The scenic spot is divided into eight inner and outer scenes. The inner eight sceneries include Chagan Lake, grassland paradise, rippling reeds, birds singing, winter fishing wonders, swans leaning on railings, hundreds of boats competing in the stream, and water park. The eight outer sceneries include sunrise on green mountains, Sunset over the dam, misty rain over the Changshan Mountain, dawn moon over the Buddhist temple, blue sky and white clouds, snow to welcome the spring, wild wax elephants, grassland storm. 1. Winter fishing in Chagan Lake: Every winter from mid-December to late January of the following year (before the Spring Festival), in addition to the stunning winter fishing, there is also a cultural festival and many winter entertainment activities.

2. Chama dance: The fourteenth and fifteenth days of the first month and June of each year are the fixed dates for Chama dance. On this day, people came from all over to "Chonghua Xining Temple" to worship Buddha and watch the Chama dance. Transportation in the city: At the main entrance of Qianguo National Stadium in Songyuan City, a special tourist bus departs for Chagan Lake at 8:00 every morning, with a fare of 5 yuan.
