The beach on Meizhou Island has fine sand and gentle beach, which is very suitable for swimming and playing in the water.
The scenery of Meizhou Island is the most charming in the morning and evening. It is recommended to get up early and return late when visiting.
Every year on Meizhou Island, the 23rd day of the third lunar month is the birthday of Mazu, and the 9th day of the ninth month is the day of Mazu’s ascension to heaven. During this period, there is an endless stream of pilgrims and numerous activities. The event is unprecedented and not to be missed.

How to get there:
From Putian City to Meizhou Island, you can take a bus directly to Meizhou Bay, and then change to a ferry to Meizhou Island. The one-way ticket is 7 yuan per person;

Meizhou Island ticket price:
The fee to go to the island is 50 yuan, and the boat ticket is 7 yuan.
After arriving on the island, the tickets for Ewei Mountain Scenic Area are 15 yuan, the tickets for Mazu Cultural Garden are 30 yuan, and the tickets for Golden Beach are 30 yuan.
