Scenic spot introduction:

Taiwan's Mingde Reservoir, formerly known as Houlong Reservoir, covers an area of more than 170 hectares and mainly supplies water for agriculture, industry and some domestic use in Miaoli. Mingde Reservoir is surrounded by mountains, the lake is clear, and there is a vast park. There are roads around the north and south banks, and two suspension bridges across the lake, which were also the filming scenes of the movie "Lupinus".

How to get there:

Getting There: Take the Miaoli Bus bound for Hsinchu from Miaoli City and get off at Mingde Reservoir Station.

Driving route: Exit the expressway at Toufen Interchange, take Provincial Highway 1, Jianshan, Provincial Highway 13, and drive along this route to Mingde Reservoir.
