Taiwan Yehliu Geopark It is located on a cape where the Datun Mountain range in Taiwan extends into the sea. Millions of years of wind, rain and sun erosion have caused the sandstone geology in this area to form weathered rocks, wind erosion gullies, wind erosion cliffs and holes of various sizes. There are many kinds of strange rocks and stones scattered on the beach, whether they are people, giant beasts or various objects, they are all lifelike. Taiwan Yehliu Geopark Located in Yehliu Village, Wanli Township, New Taipei City (formerly Taipei County), it is a cape protruding from the sea. It is about 1,700 meters long and looks like a big turtle, so it is also called "Yehliu Turtle". Yehliu Geopark The scenic area is divided into three major areas: Area 1 Queen's Head , Fairy Shoes , milk stone, etc., the second area is tofu rock, dragon head stone, etc., the third area Sea Potholes , Sea lion stone There are many kinds of strange rocks and stones on the beach, whether it is people, giant beasts or various objects, they are all lifelike. Free guided tours are available at 10:00, 10:30, 14:00 and 14:30. The tours are limited to groups of 10 or more and less than 30 people.

How to get there:
Take the Taiwan Express bus from Tamsui MRT Station or Keelung Train Station and get off at Yehliu Station; or take the Taipei-Jinshan bus from Kuo-Kuang Bus Taipei Terminal or City Hall Transfer Station and get off at Yehliu Station. After getting off the bus, you will see a clear sign and please walk about ten minutes to Yehliu Geopark .
There is a bus from Tamsui every 30 minutes, and from Kuo-Kuang every 20 minutes. There is a bus from Keelung every 15 minutes. It is recommended to go directly to the Kuo-Kuang Bus stop diagonally opposite the United Daily News Building on Section 4 of Zhongxiao East Road to catch the bus.

Yehliu Geopark Ticket Price:
Full ticket is NT$80;
The discounted ticket is NT$40 and is applicable to students (with formal student status and holding a Taiwan student ID card); seniors aged 65 or above (34 years old, must be Taiwanese nationals); and holders of an International Student ID (ISIC);
Free of charge: Children under 115 cm in height or under 12 years old.

Monday to Sunday 07:30-17:00, flexible adjustment according to season, extended to 18:00 from May to September, and extended to 18:30 on holidays.
