Taining Zhaixia Grand Canyon Scenic Area is a scenic area characterized by Danxia landforms. The valley has dense plants, climbing vines and trees, and gurgling water. It feels like a paradise. The Zhaixia Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in Zhaixia Village, fifteen kilometers northwest of Taining County. It was formed in a rift basin about 65 million years ago. It consists of three canyons, namely the Xuantian Gorge, Tongtian Gorge, and Yitian Gorge, connected end to end, like a canyon. The golden dragon lies in the mountains, so it is also called Golden Dragon Valley. The cliffs along the canyon are very steep and beautiful, including Wentian Rock, Sanxian Rock, Qitian Gorge, Yitian Sword, Buddha's Foot Rock, Golden Turtle Climbing Wall, Tianqiong Rock, Cuizhu Lake, Yunya Ridge, Golden Dragon Line Valley Group, and Golden Turtle Temple Stacks.
