1. Flower Show:
(1) A series of spring flower shows are held from February to April every year. The main flowers are plum blossoms, azaleas, tulips and magnolias.
(2) June → August is the summer lotus viewing garden party, mainly viewing lotus, water lily and bowl lotus.
(3) September → October is the autumn flower show, mainly featuring osmanthus and chrysanthemum.
(4) November → January is the winter flower show, where you can mainly enjoy narcissus and wintersweet.
2. Flower viewing guide for the four seasons: wintersweet in January, plum blossoms in February, magnolia in March, tulips in April, pomegranates and roses in May, water lilies in June, lotus in July, crape myrtle in August, and September Osmanthus, hibiscus in October, autumn chrysanthemum in November, loquat in December.
3. Summer lotus viewing guide:
(1) The main viewing areas for lotus and water lilies are in the Waterscape Garden, Camel Falls and Sandie Spring Scenic Area. The best time to view lotus and water lilies in summer is from 6 to 9 a.m. If it is cloudy or drizzly, the raindrops will hit the water surface and the lotus leaves to form crystal clear water droplets flowing between the lotus leaves, which is even more interesting. .
(2) The cold-resistant water lily blooms first due to its short dormancy period, followed by lotus and tropical water lily. The king lotus blooms later because it is propagated and cultivated with seeds every year. Lotus usually opens for the first time in the early morning and closes around noon. The flowering period of a single flower is short, only 3 to 4 days, but the group flowering period lasts for about 2 to 4 months. Most tropical varieties bloom at the same time as the cold-tolerant water lilies, but a few bloom only at night, such as the Egyptian white water lily. Therefore, it is best to prepare in advance when viewing lotus flowers, prepare your camera and get to your destination early.
