Scenic spot introduction:

Qushui Garden is one of the five major classical gardens in Shanghai. It is located in Chengxiang Town, Qingpu District. It was first built in the 10th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1745) and was the spiritual garden of the City God Temple at that time. It is said that in order to build this garden, one penny was collected from every resident in the city, so it is also known as "One Garden". In the third year of Emperor Jiaqing's reign (1798), the name of the garden was changed to Qushui Garden. Because the garden is next to Dayingpu, it is taken from the ancient meaning of "Qushui Liushang". Qushui Garden is famous for its small size, elegance and simplicity. The garden covers an area of 30 mu, of which 15% is water. The buildings in the garden are made of blue tiles, white walls and blue bricks. The trees are lush and luxuriant, with abundant flowers and fruits. It is known as "cherries compete for beauty in spring, lotus flowers emerge from the water in summer, golden osmanthus is fragrant in autumn, and winter plum blossoms are dazzling in winter".
