Dongting Lake is one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China. It is located in the northern part of Hunan Province, south of the Jingjiang section of the Yangtze River. It is the fourth largest lake in China and the second largest freshwater lake in China, with an area of 2,820 square kilometers. Dongting Lake is now the most important water collection and flood storage lake basin in the Yangtze River Basin. Due to serious sedimentation, the lake channel has been divided into three parts: East Dongting Lake, South Dongting Lake and West Dongting Lake. The scenery of Binhu is extremely beautiful, and many scenic spots are national-level scenic spots, such as: Yueyang Tower , Junshan , Du Fu's Tomb , Yang Mo Village , Tiejing Building, Quzi Temple, Yuelong Pagoda, Confucian Temple, Longzhou Academy and other places of interest. Tour route:
On the first day, we mainly visited Yueyang Tower Scenic Area → Nanhu Scenic Area → and visited Junshan in the afternoon.
The next day, we took a bus to Miluo City to see Qu Yuan’s death by throwing himself into the river. Quzi Temple → Dragon Boat Race Site → In the afternoon, we took a bus to see the Ren Bishi Memorial Hall.
On the third day, you can consider going to Zhang Guying Village (the best village in the world) → Tieshan. You can also go to Pingjiang to see the temple and Muhu Mountain. You can also go to Linxiang to see Wujianshan Scenic Area in the morning. In the afternoon, we went to see the 6501 Cave built by Lin Biao and went horse riding in the Jiangnan Desert (desert), etc.

How to get there:
Take the No. 15 tourist bus from Yueyang Railway Station directly to the Junshan Scenic Area. The one-way fare is 5 yuan/person.
