Scenic spot introduction:
The Ming Tombs Reservoir in Beijing is a national water conservancy scenic spot, a patriotic education base in Beijing and Changping District. The Ming Tombs Reservoir is located at the exit of Dongshan on the east side of the Shinto. It was named after it was built to the south of the Ming Tombs. The reservoir has vast expanse of blue waves, and the five characters "Ming Tombs Reservoir" on the outside of the dam were written by Mao Zedong. After more than 50 years, it has developed into a tourist attraction integrating flood control, hydropower generation, tourism, leisure vacation and education.Attractions distribution:
The main attractions in the Ming Tombs Reservoir Scenic Area include Mangshan Forest Park, Jiulong Amusement Park, reservoir dam, etc. The attractions of Mangshan Forest Park include the stone Buddha, the twelve zodiac stone carvings, Deng Xiaoping tree planting area, inscriptions, climbing stone steps, painted corridors, antique Ming pagodas, etc.Scenic spot qualifications:

How to get there:
Bus: Take bus 845 from Xizhimen or bus 912 from Andingmen to the reservoir. You can also get there by bus 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9.
Self-driving: Drive north from Badaling Highway, exit at the Xiguan Roundabout in Changping, go north into the Ling District, and turn right when you see the road sign for the Golf Club.

Ming Tombs Reservoir ticket price:
Tickets for Mangshan Forest Park: 20 yuan, 10 yuan for students and senior citizens with valid ID.
Kowloon Amusement Park: Single ticket purchase is NT$10, Underwater Dragon Palace is NT$30, Turtle is NT$20, Aquarium is NT$15, Raft is NT$20, F-1 racing car is NT$15, Bumper boat is NT$15 15 yuan for the Grand Cruise, 10 yuan for Dinosaur Valley, and 20 yuan for Magic World. Coupon ticket 65 yuan (choose any of the above 4 items, including scenic spot tickets); 100 yuan (all the above items, including an additional 25 yuan speedboat).
