The Ming Tombs Reservoir in Beijing is a national water conservancy scenic spot, a patriotic education base in Beijing and Changping District. The Ming Tombs Reservoir is located at the exit of Dongshan on the east side of the Shinto. It was named after it was built to the south of the Ming Tombs. The reservoir has vast expanse of blue waves, and the five characters "Ming Tombs Reservoir" on the outside of the dam were written by Mao Zedong. After more than 50 years, it has developed into a tourist attraction integrating flood control, hydropower generation, tourism, leisure vacation and education.Attractions distribution:

The Ming Tombs Reservoir became the venue for triathlon competitions at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since then, triathlon competitions have been held here many times.
Best time to visit:
The best time to visit Kowloon Amusement Park is from May to October, during which some water sports activities will also be opened one after another.

How to get there:
Bus: Take bus 845 from Xizhimen or bus 912 from Andingmen to the reservoir. You can also get there by bus 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9.
Self-driving: Drive north from Badaling Highway, exit at the Xiguan Roundabout in Changping, go north into the Ling District, and turn right when you see the road sign for the Golf Club.
