Jingzhou Chu King’s Chariot and Horse Array Scenic Area is the largest, best-preserved, and most complete cemetery of Chu’s high-level nobles that has ever been seen in China and even the world. It is also an outstanding representative of the highest level of Chu culture during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. "There are terracotta warriors and horses in the north, and chariot and horse formations in the south." The Chu king's chariot and horse formation is the Xiong Family Tomb, which is an important part of the large-scale ancient cultural site in Nancheng during the Chu period. Not only are the tombs large in scale, but there are more than a thousand pieces (sets) of cultural relics unearthed, which are of extremely important significance to historical research and archaeological excavations, and also allow more tourists to understand ancient tomb culture and history.Attractions distribution:
The Chu King's Chariot and Horse Array Scenic Area is located in Zhangchang Village, Chuandian Town, about 35 kilometers away from Jingzhou City (Jingzhou Ancient City). The scenic area covers an area of 731 acres. It currently has landscapes such as the chariot and horse array ruins, the Chu King's Mausoleum and the Queen's Tomb Restoration Exhibition Area, the Martyr's Tomb Exhibition Area, gardens and ecological agriculture. Bus route: From Jingzhou Passenger Transport Hub Station (next to Jingzhou Railway Station), take the "Jingzhou → Caobu Lake" Chu King's Chariot and Horse Array Scenic Area (Xiongjiazhong) special bus to reach it. It leaves on the hour and the journey takes about 1 hour
