Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum, also known as Nanhai No. 1 Museum, is located on Shili Silver Beach, Hailing Island, Yangjiang City, with mountains behind and the sea. With the theme of the excavation, protection, display and research of the "Nanhai No. 1" ancient shipwreck from the Song Dynasty, the museum is the world's first underwater archeology thematic museum that displays the dynamic demonstration process of underwater archaeological on-site excavations.
