Scenic spot introduction:

The Jiao Yulu Memorial Park is located on the old embankment of the Yellow River in the north of Lankao County, Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It was built in February 1966. Jiao Yulu was a native of Zibo City, Shandong Province. He became Secretary of the Lankao County Committee of the Communist Party of China in December 1962. In order to change the poverty and backwardness of Lankao, he led the cadres and the masses to fight tenaciously against sandstorms, salt-alkali, and waterlogging. He became ill from overwork and died of illness on May 14, 1964, at the age of 42.

The Jiao Yulu Memorial Garden consists of the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, the Jiao Yulu Martyr's Tomb, the Jiao Yulu Memorial Hall and the Jiao Yulu Memorial Garden Square.

How to get there:

Tourists can buy tickets from Kaifeng Passenger Transport Center Station to Lankao. The first train departs at 7:50 and the last train is at 23:40. The fare ranges from 21 to 25 yuan, and the whole journey is 119KM. After arriving in Lankao County, you can take a motorcycle or taxi, which costs about 5 yuan, and you can bargain.
