Scenic spot introduction:
There are many hot springs along the Ganshui River at the eastern foot of Qianshan Mountain. It has been famous since the Tang Dynasty. Because the mountain looks like a tiger sawing, it is also called Hutou Mountain. Qianshan Forest Park is located in the south of Xianning City Hot Spring and on the south bank of Ganhe Moon Bay. It has beautiful scenery and covers an area of 6 square kilometers. The general altitude is 130 meters and the highest altitude is 247 meters. The forest coverage rate in the area is 93%, dominated by pine, fir and oak trees. Mainly, it has been a famous tourist destination in Xianning since ancient times.Attractions distribution:
The total area of Qianshan National Forest Park is 680 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 95.6%. There are tree introduction and domestication gardens (Osmanthus Variety Garden, Baizhu Garden), Osmanthus Bamboo Garden, etc. on the mountain. 475 rare tree species, 88 osmanthus varieties, bamboos, etc. are planted in the park. There are 120 varieties, and an Osmanthus Expo has been opened to promote the cultural heritage of the hometown of Xianning Osmanthus. How to get there:
Take bus No. 1 from Xianning Railway Station and get off at China No. 1 Spring. After crossing the bridge, walk along the river road on the right for ten minutes to Qianshan National Forest Park.
