Nanjing Xiamafang Heritage Park Travel Guide
Scenic spot introduction:
Nanjing Xiamafang Heritage Park is the entrance to the Xiaoling Mausoleum of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty. It was once a royal forbidden area and one of the landscapes of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Scenic Area. In the old days, this place was guarded by specialized soldiers, whose status was comparable to that of the Royal Guard in the capital. Anyone who rides a horse must dismount before passing here. Therefore, the dismounting square is regarded as the location of the "dragon vein" and a symbol of the country and imperial power. The safety of the Xiaoling Mausoleum means the prosperity of the descendants and the long-term national destiny. Nowadays, as cultural relics are unearthed one by one, an open heritage park has been built to display the history of Xiamafang, and it has become an important place for tourism, archeology and citizen leisure.Attractions distribution:
