Quanzhou Luoyang Bridge is the earliest existing cross-sea beam-type large stone bridge in my country, and is known as the "No. 1 Bridge in the Country". The Luoyang Bridge is 834 meters long, 7 meters wide, and has 46 piers, all made of huge stones. It is one of the four famous bridges in ancient China along with the Marco Polo Bridge in Beijing, the Zhaozhou Bridge in Hebei, and the Guangji Bridge in Guangdong.

Luoyang Bridge, formerly known as "Wan'an Bridge", is located on the Luoyang River in the eastern suburbs of Quanzhou. The bridge was built in the fifth year of Emperor Huangyou of the Song Dynasty (1053). It was presided over by Cai Xiang, the prefect of Quanzhou at the time. It took six years to complete and is the earliest existing bridge in China. The large cross-sea beam-type stone bridge is known as the "first bridge in the country".
The existing Luoyang Bridge was rebuilt in the 26th year of Qianlong (1761 AD). The bridge is 731.29 meters long, 4.5 meters wide and 7.3 meters high. It has 44 boat-shaped piers, 645 handrails, There are 104 stone lions, 1 stone pavilion, and 7 stone towers. Together with the Marco Polo Bridge in Beijing, the Zhaozhou Bridge in Hebei, and the Guangji Bridge in Guangdong, they are known as the four famous bridges in ancient China and are national key cultural relics protection units.
