Scenic spot introduction:

Taipei Xindian Creek It is one of the three major tributaries of the Tamsui River system and the main source of water for the Taipei metropolitan area. Xindian Creek Many of the bridges on the river are quite famous and have been used as filming locations for many Taiwanese movies. The main stream of the river is the Beishi River, which originates from the north side of Yingziling in Shuangxi District at an elevation of about 700 meters. It flows westward to Guishan in Xindian City and joins the tributary Nanshi River before being called the Xindian Creek After the confluence, it flows northward through Quchi, Zhitan, and Xindian, and merges with another tributary, the Jingmei River, near Jingmei, forming the natural boundary between Taipei City and New Taipei City. After it flows to Jiangzicui and intersects with the Dahan River, it is renamed the Tamsui River. There is a tap water quality and quantity protection area in the basin to protect the safety of citizens' water use.

Xindian Creek It is about 82 kilometers long and is located in northern Taiwan, with a drainage area of 921 square kilometers. The main landscapes include Bitan Suspension Bridge , Qingtan Weir, Emerald Reservoir , hydroelectric power plants, etc.
