Jiaozhuanghu Village in Shunyi, Beijing, is located at the foot of Waituo Mountain, the remaining ridge of Yanshan Mountain. It is the only way to the Pingxi and Pingbei base areas. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was under the leadership of the Jidong Anti-Japanese Base Area. The local villagers were under the leadership of the village party branch. , connecting individual hidden caves where people stored grain underground, and fought and lived in the tunnels. From 1943 to 1946, a total of 23 miles of tunnels were dug. The village was criss-crossed and connected to neighboring villages, extending in all directions and echoing up and down. A 23-mile tunnel network is formed, extending from Longwantun and Tangdong in the south to Dabeiwu in the north. In the autumn of 1964, the "Jiaozhuanghu Militia Struggle History Exhibition Room" was established in the village. In 1979, it was listed as a key municipal cultural relic protection unit by the Beijing Municipal Government and renamed "Beijing Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel War Site Memorial Hall".
