Scenic spot introduction:

Wuzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is the first Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Chinese history. It is located in Zhongshan Park, Wanxiu District, Wuzhou City. In order to prepare for the Northern Expedition, Sun Yat-sen stationed in Wuzhou three times from 1921 to 1922. After Sun Yat-sen passed away in Beijing on March 12, 1925, Li Jishen, director of the Wuzhou Rehabilitation Department, proposed raising funds to build a Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Beishan Park. In January 1926, the foundation laying ceremony of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was held. In the summer of 1928, the ground was officially broken. It was completed in October 1930. It was the earliest Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall built in the country. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is designed with an architectural concept that combines Chinese classical palace style with Western church style, which is consistent with Dr. Sun Yat-sen's mind of combining advanced ideas from the world with China's national conditions.
