Xuzhou Baolian Temple was originally the first Indian-style temple in China. It was the ashram of Maitreya Bodhisattva. After being rebuilt in 2009, it has become an important landscape of the Pantaoshan Buddhist Cultural Scenic Spot. It can be called the first temple in the east of Pengcheng. As the largest temple in Xuzhou, Baolian Temple has the largest Mahavira Hall in the country, the largest Buddhist-themed mural in a single area, the tallest Buddhist pavilion and the largest indoor forged bronze Buddha statue. Baolian Temple is located at No. 5 Baolian Temple Road, Xuzhou Economic Development Zone and was completed on September 28, 2012. 3. In the direction of Nanjing, drive along the Ningluo Expressway, pass through the Changshen Expressway/Ninglian Expressway → Xinyang Expressway → Huaixu Expressway, and exit at the Dahuangshan Railway Bridge from the Xuzhou (East)/Pizhou exit.
