Gaomin Temple in Yangzhou is the first of the eight famous temples in Yangzhou in the Qing Dynasty, the emperor's palace, and the prototype of the Grand View Garden in "A Dream of Red Mansions". Together with Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, Tianning Temple in Changzhou, and Tiantong Temple in Ningbo, it is also known as the four major jungles of Zen Buddhism in my country. As a famous historical temple with influence as far away as Southeast Asia, Gaomin Temple is built near the water. The architecture is lively and light, the space is winding and deep, the first floor and the pavilion are all strangely and cleverly built, the mountains and mist are just right, and the Sanskrit sound comes at the morning People's hearts. Gaomin Temple is located in the southern suburbs of Yangzhou, at the mouth of the Three Branch River at the intersection of the ancient canal and the Yiyang River. The mountain gate of the temple is inlaid with a white marble forehead written in Kangxi's handwriting "Edict to Build Gaomin Temple". There are old buildings in the temple such as the old Zen Hall, the Buddha Chanting Hall, the Sutra Library, the Jade Buddha Hall, the West Tower, the Shuijia Pavilion and the dormitories. Later, the Zen Hall, Main Hall, Tianwang Hall, Tianzhong Pagoda, Abbot's Room, Dharma Hall, Ruyi Liao, Yanshou Hall and West Garden were rebuilt.
