Gucheng Chengen Temple is one of the top 100 famous Buddhist temples in China. It is located in Wuduoshanyin, 45 kilometers southeast of Gucheng County, Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. It is famous for the legend that Princess Yang of the Sui Dynasty lived in seclusion here to cure her illness.

Cheng'en Temple is backed by Lion Rock and faces Jinzi Mountain. During the Daye Period of the Sui Dynasty (605-618), Princess Yang of the Sui Dynasty lived in seclusion here to heal her illness. She recovered after bathing in the local spiritual spring. The emperor felt her kindness and sent people to build a temple here. , named Baoyan Zen Temple, it has been built and destroyed many times since the Tang and Song Dynasties, and was destroyed by fire in the late Yuan Dynasty. During the Tomorrow Shun period, Yingzong renovated the temple in order to repay his uncle. He changed the mountain to "Yongle Mountain" and the temple to "Dacheng'en Temple". He built the Main Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Pilu Buddha, Maitreya Stone Buddha and Thousands of kilograms of copper bells, etc., it was at its peak in the eighth year of Zhengtong in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1443), with more than 200 pavilions and meditation halls. It was repaired many times in the Qing Dynasty, and now there are 75 palaces such as the Main Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, and the Bell Tower. The temple is surrounded by mountains, springs surround the temple, ancient pines are tall and tall, and the mountains and rivers are beautiful. Inside and outside the temple, there are King Xiang's jade tablets, Wanjin bronze bells, Niuchi Night Moon, Jade Belt Divine Spring, Longchi Dangui, Changqiao Suofeng, Jinshan Crane Dance and Lion Peak. How to get there:
