Kampala is the capital of Uganda and is located in the largest Lake Victoria The city is located on seven hills and has beautiful scenery. "Kampala" means "the land of antelopes". Legend has it that this was where the Ugandan king grazed his sheep. Kampala is also known as the "Banana City" because the streets of Kampala are full of green banana trees of various types, with different postures, thick stems and broad leaves. Uganda is the "water town of the East African plateau", so it is called the "Pearl of Africa", and Kampala is the "Pearl among Pearls".

Kampala has high temperatures, high humidity, plenty of sunshine, hot and rainy weather all year round. The annual average temperature is between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, and the temperature changes very little.
