Travel Guide to Sejila Mountain in Tibet

Sejila Mountain in Tibet is located east of Nyingchi County and belongs to the Nyainqentanglha Mountains. Niyang River The watershed between the Sichuan-Tibet Highway and the Parung Tsangpo River is crossed by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Climbing to the mountain pass at an altitude of 4,728 meters, you can see the sunrise, the sea of clouds, the endless forest and the distant view. Mount Nanga Bawa The majestic and beautiful scenery. Benri La Mountain, located next to Daze Village on the west slope of Seji La Mountain, is a holy place of Tibetan Bon religion and one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. Sejila is most famous for its rhododendrons. The rhododendrons in Sejila Mountain cover a large area and have many varieties. They are magnificent and spectacular when in full bloom. There are about 850 species of rhododendrons in the world, of which about 460 are found in my country, including 170 in Tibet, accounting for one-fifth of the world's rhododendron varieties. In the Sejila Mountain area of Nyingchi County, the area between 2,900 and 5,300 meters above sea level is densely covered with rhododendrons. Measured by straight-line distance, the area is more than 1,000 square kilometers, with as many as 25 varieties.
