The Zhayeba Caves in Tibet are one of the four major meditation sites in Tibet during the Tubo period. They are located about 20 kilometers northeast of Lhasa. Lhari Ningbu Mountain This is a sacred place of Tibetan Buddhism composed of strange peaks, strange rocks, streams, grasslands, caves and temples. It not only has a long history and many sacred places, but also has unique scenery that makes people linger. There is a Tibetan proverb: "The sacred place of Tibet is in Lhasa, and the sacred place of Lhasa is in Yeba" and "If you come to Lhasa and don't go to Yeba, it's like making a new dress and forgetting to make the collar." This shows the status of Zhayeba in the hearts of Tibetan Buddhist believers.

Zhayeba is famous throughout Tibet for its meditation caves, and it is said that there are 108 of them. The most representative ones are the Dharma King Cave, where the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo meditated; the Moon Cave, where it is said that Guru Padmasambhava practiced dual cultivation; the Patriarch Cave, where Atisha, the founder of the later period of Tibetan Buddhism, lived; and the Lalong Cave, which is said to be the hiding place of the mantra monk Lalong Beiduo in the middle of the 9th century AD. He assassinated the anti-Buddhist and exterminating Tibetan King Langdarma alone in Lhasa, thus becoming a famous figure in history.

There are shuttle buses to all scenic spots from Jokhang Temple Square from 7:30 to 8:00 every day, with a round-trip fare of 20 yuan per person.
