Scenic spot introduction:

Røros is an important mining town on the Gloma River in central Norway. The pyrite deposits near the town were discovered in the 17th century and were mined until 1977, a period of 300 years. In 1679, the town of Røros was destroyed by the Swedish army and was later completely rebuilt. There are now more than 80 wooden houses in the city, most of which have courtyards. Many buildings still retain their faded paintwork. The asphalt-coated logs have a unique medieval style and have become a living history of mining society since the mid-17th century AD.

Attractions distribution:

The village of Røros is 650 meters above sea level and is a village and town rich in pyrite deposits. The town is centered on two parallel streets (Sheikgata Street and Bergmansgata Street). The entire residential area is a square grid of Renaissance buildings, and later grazing houses were built. Although it has experienced multiple disasters such as fires, the entire village of Leros now has about 3,500 people, and various buildings have remained intact. It still shows the social style of the mining heyday in the mid-17th century AD. The thatched huts built by miners, centuries-old wooden buildings, the Baroque church built in 1784, as well as slag heaps and old smelters in the town have all become tourist attractions that attract tourists.
